Job Description

Account Manager

Ingrained Digital · London / Hybrid · Full-time

About Ingrained Digital

Ingrained Digital is a premium personal branding agency based in London, working with a global roster of high-profile clients. Our core service is a white-glove social media management retainer. We create high-end content on behalf of individuals over an ongoing period, predominantly on LinkedIn, helping them build powerful audiences that translate into commercial returns.

Our Clientele

While we focus on personal branding rather than corporate pages, our clients enlist us to drive business growth. Our target audience includes founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams across diverse sectors, from DEI and recruitment to heavy industries like Industrial Motor Control. We also partner with senior marketing executives at startups, scaleups, and enterprise businesses who want to enroll their leadership into our program to support the company's broader marketing aims.

We embody these leaders online. As our Account Manager, you will be the guardian of their digital presence, ensuring every facet of their campaign runs flawlessly.

The Role

The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for our clients and the strategic engine of their campaigns. You will be responsible for onboarding clients, implementing their personal brand strategy, and orchestrating the moving parts of content production, publishing, and community management.

This role requires a unique blend of relationship management, sharp copy-editing skills, trend analysis, and exceptional delegation. You will work hand-in-hand with a dedicated Account Executive, who will support you on administrative and operational execution, allowing you to focus on client strategy and relationship health. Ultimately, you ensure we deliver everything we're contracted to do, on time, to an immaculate standard, while keeping client satisfaction exceptionally high.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Brand Strategy: Guide newly signed clients through our onboarding pipeline and adapt our tried-and-tested strategy templates to align with their specific commercial goals.
  • Client Content Sessions: Lead monthly interview sessions with clients to extract their insights, stories, and expertise, building a robust backlog of content fuel.
  • Team Delegation & Delivery Oversight: Act as the strategic guide and direct manager for your Account Executive. You will clearly delegate and oversee their delivery of essential operational tasks, including organising content documents, sourcing/attaching client media assets, and managing the scheduling and publishing pipeline.
  • Creative Briefing & Traffic Management: Translate client interviews into sharp, actionable briefs for our copywriting and design teams. Own the internal production timeline alongside your AE to ensure zero late deliveries.
  • Proofing & Quality Control: Act as the final line of defense. Critically analyse and copy-edit all creative work, ensuring it matches the client's tone of voice and matches our premium standards before it goes live.
  • Trend & Industry Monitoring: Stay dialed into social media trends (specifically LinkedIn) and monitor your clients' respective industries to identify reactive, timely content opportunities.
  • Data Interpretation: Review performance data with our internal analyst. You won't build the reports, but you must understand the metrics deeply enough to confidently discuss progress, insights, and campaign ROI directly with the client.
  • Ad-Hoc Copywriting: Craft swift, high-quality social copy when urgent, reactive news or industry updates require immediate action.
  • Campaign Administration: Ensure absolute visibility over content pipelines using Google Drive and project tools. Guarantee there are zero gaps or dormant periods in posting schedules, while maintaining strict GDPR compliance.

Non-Negotiable Skills & Attributes

  • Effective Delegation & Leadership: You know how to leverage support. You can clearly communicate expectations, set firm internal deadlines for your Account Executive, and review their work critically without micro-managing, ensuring the team operates like a well-oiled machine.
  • Impeccable Communication: As a content-first agency, our communication must be flawless. You have an eagle eye for typos, perfect grammar, and the ability to write in a clear, concise, and conversational manner.
  • Advanced Code-Switching: You can seamlessly adjust your communication style depending on who you are talking TO or writing FOR. You can capture the voice of a female recruitment founder in the US just as easily as a traditional corporate executive in London.
  • High-Level Personability: You are confident, empathetic, and naturally adept at building trust. Our clients need to feel deeply understood on a professional and personal level.
  • Proactive Attention to Detail: You don't just solve problems; you anticipate them. You spot potential bottlenecks in production or client approvals weeks before they cause a delay.
  • Extreme Ownership (Diligence): The buck stops with you. You know your campaigns inside out, and you take pride in managing schedules so contractual obligations are always met perfectly.
  • The Confidence to Counsel: You view yourself as the expert consultant, not just a "yes-person." You are comfortable pushing back against client suggestions when they don't align with best practices, using data and logic to guide them to the right decision.

Benefits

  • Remote work. There's no fixed obligation to be in-person, but we may request attendance for certain things such as key meetings or client events.
  • The opportunity for in-person collaboration. Join us in our London (Moorgate) office when you please.
  • £500 annual training and development budget. If you see a course you'd like to enrol in (or something similar) that is directly relevant to your role with us, we'll pay for it.
  • Genuine opportunity for ownership and progression. Your work, if done properly, will directly contribute to the growth of the business. Joining at this stage will put you in good stead to help shape the future direction of Ingrained, and develop into more senior roles in time.
